There are some songs whose existence is justified just by the lines contained within them, whether you like them or not:
"Beauty's where you find it / not just where you bump and grind it." -Madonna, "Vogue"
"Conversation has a time and place in the / interaction of a lover and her mate / but the time of talking, using symbols, using words / can be likened to a deep sea diver / who is swimming with a raincoat" -Savage Garden, "I Want You"
"They say that children can come in all ages / and maybe sometimes old men die with little boy faces" -The Wallflowers, "The Difference"
The top for comedy, the last two for profundity. Yes, profundity. At least I think so. Maybe you have to be listening to them. I can't look at them without hearing the song, so I wouldn't know. Anyways, songs, yeah. Good lines.
