Learned a new Tagalog (filipino language) term:

balimbing

This is the tagalog word for starfruit. It's also used to describe a politician whose politics are so amorphous that ze can claim to side with whichever issue suits hir purposes. This is because when you cross-section a starfruit, it has many sides, so you can put any side up.

Interesting word, no? I think we here in America are certainly in need of an equivalent.
