This artist, Delve Withrington, is woo-woo hot. His art, that is. Look at it. Look at it long and hard.

Oh my god. What is wrong with me?

Assemblage is easily the wall-art form that grabs me the most. It tendency towards found stuff, and it's 2-D 3-Dness. I think the reason I don't relate to paintings as well as other art forms is because they don't look like you can or should touch them. I'm a very tactile person. Whereas assemblage, found-object stuff, especially interactive sculpture--that's what I'm all about. Even if you're not supposed to touch it, if it looks like something that would be touched, I am happier. The textures Mr. Withrington uses in his assemblages are very tactile-looking; makes me go woo.

Side note.

I am really into older men now; Mr. B, this is all your fault.
